ToVP Towers and Trees Mayapur, WB: Last summer the ToVP began a nursery near the Jagannatha Mandir. It is home to thousands of various types of trees and shrubs. They will spend the next few years growing in the nursery so they will be full and lush at the time of transplantation. The greenery will frame and enhance the aesthetic appeal of the new temple while simultaneously offering shade to pilgrims and Mayapur residents.

Fifty Thousand Attend  ISKCON Bangladesh Rathayatra Dhaka, Bangladesh: During the parade in Bangladesh's capital city Dhaka, over 50,000 people participated as the traditional three colorful chariots carrying the Lord's form of jagannatha, His brother Baladeva and sister Subhadra were pulled by devotees.

The Hanumen Come Jumping in, Set the Music World Ablaze : The self-titled debut album from US-based chant group The Hanumen has been released on June 25. The Hanumen, started four years ago, represent an eclectic mix of faiths. Benjy Wertheimer is a Buddhist, who also studied Shaivism. John De Kadt has lived at the Kripalu Yoga Ashram, and explored Native American spiritual traditions. Gaura Vani grew up in ISKCON with the GaudiyaVaishnava faith. And Purusartha Das became a disciple of ISKCON founder Srila Prabhupada in the 1970s, and is a pioneer of chant in the US. Rather than trying to change each other, they all aim to deeply understand and follow their own spiritual practices, while at the same time encouraging and nurturing each other's practices. 

New ISKCON Temple in Silicon Valley Mountain View, CA, USA: ISKCON of Silicon Valley has moved to their new temple in Mountain View. The inauguration festival was held on Saturday, July 6 and 7. This temple has been built on selling and promoting Srila Prabhupada'stranscendental literature and teachings under leadership of His Grace Vaisesika Prabhu

"Once" star becomes a Hare Krishna : Glen Hansard, the movie star in the Hollywood movie "Once," sometimes shared the streets with members of the enthusiastic Hare Krishna sect. But what the movie does not reveal is that Hansard is himself a Hare Krishna follower. "What I like about Hare Krishnas is that you eat, you dance, and you sing your way to God," he explained. 

"Meeting God": Interfaith Convention in Italy Villa Vrindava, Italy: ISKCON's Parabhakti Dasa organized "Meeting God," an Interfaith Convention held here, near Florence, Italy. The circle of speakers and listeners represented unity, source and goal with no beginning and no ending for spiritual energy outreaching from the core to the peripheries and vice versa, involving all the people present in a synergy of empathy, experience, memory, sweetness and sincerity. 

Cultural Director Visits Radhadesh- Radhadesh, Belgium: Mr.Suresh Goel, Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (lCCR), visited the ISKCON community here. MOSA executive manager, Stoka Krishna Dasa, along with Radhadesh Temple President Hrdaya Caitanya Dasa, and Hindu Forum of Belgium (HFB) Vice President Ravinder Singh and wife greeted and accompanied Mr.Suresh Goel throughout the day's activities. 

Traveling Sankirtan Party in Germany : A brand new outreach project is spreading Krishna consciousness around Germany with joy, color and enthusiasm. All six core members of Der Fahrende Tempel – or The Traveling Temple – are celibate monks called brahmacaris.
